Показатель уровня инфляции странчленов ЕС. Индекс используется для сравнения уровня инфляции в отдельных странах Европейского союза. Рассчитывается как средняя геометрическая величина в отличие от британского индекса розничных цен, который основан на среднеарифметических показателях (см. Price index).
